a few issues
interior design comfortable bed unwanted knocking malfunctioning button
the room was in the historical building. i appreciated how the interior design corresponded with the whole building. it felt unique. the bed was very comfortable (i slept really well).
i had the do not disturb sign displayed.

Excellent Heritage Hotel Experience
convenient location breakfast option bottled water
The hotel's location is very convenient near the metro station. Breakfast offered Singaporean and western options, including honey from a hive. I received extra bottled water upon request, helpful. The heritage structure is maintained very well.
I experienced an issue with a non-working button for the blinds in my room. The button was not fixed . I consider this a minor inconvenience needing attention.

Capitol impressions
easy access dining options helpful staff great food
The hotel is very close to capitol theatre and city hall MRT. You can reach at least four malls and two MRT stations without ever stepping outside thanks to easy access to singapore's CONNECTED walkways. I found many dining options nearby because of the theater proximity. The food was great and the staff helped me greatly.
i FOUND waiting time at reception to check in was ridiculous. i waited a long time past check in time. stay WAS good.

The beautiful room included A VERY comfortable king bed. The spacious bathroom featured modern fixtures. I found the room quiet even though it faced THE street, and the decor of the building was lovely.

This hotel has a CENTRAL location to main tourist areas. I could walk to museums and shopping centers. The hotel is situated next to the capitol theatre, and I was very close to city hall, a hub for MRT connections.

The staff were helpful AND friendly. Every interaction was marked by genuine kindness. A staff member even brought my bag to reception. They seemed to care that i enjoyed the city.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues
dirty room clogged shower
The location was a gem and suited my needs for exploring the area.
The room wasn't as clean as it should be for the price. I noticed hair from a previous guest on the study table and a used contact lens in the trash. The rain shower also sprayed water everywhere because it was clogged and bathroom amenities were not replenished daily.
